Many students fail to write the essay because they do not apply the different techniques that are mentioned here.
It is very important to take these points and apply them into your paper. The above tips are specific to the subject of domestic violence. Do not dwell on subjects that do not interest you or the other parties involved in the subject. Be sure that you are using your topic to help the reader see a perspective from an outsider's point of view. As stated above, this is the way to make your essay easy to write. The next tip is to include the other topic that is being discussed. Be sure to use the full title when writing this topic. Avoid using shortening the title of the topic for the essay. This can be awkward to read at times and will not help in the process of writing the essay. One interesting thing to note about using both topics is that the essay topic will be far more interesting than it would have been if only one of the topics was used. Take the time to find some examples of essay topics on domestic violence. Then look at these examples and start making notes and working on your essay. Also, ask yourself if you really want to write about this topic. If you really want to write the essay and you think it will help you with the rest of your academic career, then by all means do so. If you do not think it will help, then you will likely just be wasting your time. Either way, it is important to give yourself some room to make your decisions. Finally, get a set of paper and pen. Write out a draft of the essay and see if the essay is flowing the way you want it to. After you are satisfied with the final draft, make some revisions if needed and finally take the time to go back and edit your essay to make it your own. In conclusion, remember that no matter how old your article is, it will still be of value to the readers. In addition, if you find the essay style difficult to write, do not hesitate to look for an easier to write a version that does not require the use of essay software. High School Essay Topics For Students in 10th GradeThe student handbook for high school students is filled with 'appropriate' essay topics for the student to work on in the context of an English essay. Unfortunately, most of the essay topics that are available are generic or in many cases totally irrelevant to the topic at hand. As a high school English teacher, I was always forced to pick a topic that wasn't relevant and then scramble to put together something that was related or at least plausible.
Here are some 'sample essays' for high school students that might inspire them. These topics come from past and present lessons, with my favorite being a discussion of the environmental impact of slavery in America. In lesson one of Larry Kapital's book, 'How To Write An Essay On History', a student asked the following question: 'What do you think of slavery?' Most of the students were in agreement with the slavery connection. But, some had thoughts on the subject that we could not disagree with! When students come to this particular topic, don't hesitate to include it. Have the students think about the history of the institution of slavery, how it became an institution and what other factors made slavery prevalent in the U.S. Of course, there's a strong chance that some of them will dismiss the idea that slavery should be viewed as an institution. But if there are some who do embrace the idea, you can begin to demonstrate how they arrived at that conclusion. In lesson two of Penelope Gabriel's book, 'Introduction To Writing A Dissertation', students asked: 'Why is writing a dissertation the hardest thing a person can do?' The first thing you can do when approaching this is to give the students the following idea. Let them reflect on how they would prepare a master's thesis or an academic paper if they were to be given a similar assignment. It's important to make the students understand that when you're writing their dissertation, the knowledge you possess is not as valuable as your attitude. So, find something to bring out your best self and let your students see that you can handle the situation gracefully. After all, they have placed their trust in you! As a high school American public school student, I was no match for the students who wanted to know what the 'Impact Of Slavery On The American Public School System' was! However, their questions and analysis have encouraged me to keep my eye out for new topics for future topics in high school English and composition. However, for now, I will encourage my students to write about their own beliefs and experiences to hone their skill as critical thinkers. |
